Tables

On phones, wide tables scroll sideways inside their own box.
A level 4 heading
Headings go from level 2 (the big ones with a line under them) down to level 4. The page title is level 1, so don't use it in the body.
Quotes and callouts
An ordinary quote looks like this.

Wiki links
There are three ways to link to another page:
- By rulebook and number: FL 3.2
- By slug, inside the same rulebook: Help:Everything
- By rulebook and slug: CoE:Conflict_of_Interest
You can change the link text with a pipe: this page.
Links to pages that don't exist show up red. FL 3.2 and CoE:Conflict_of_Interest above are red because no rules have been written yet. They turn blue once those pages exist. This one will stay red on purpose: This_Page_Does_Not_Exist.
The [[ ]] button in the editor toolbar searches for a page and inserts the link for you.
Tags
Tags say who a rule applies to. This page has every tag so you can see them all, just under the title. On a real rule, tick only the ones that apply. Click a tag to see every rule that has it.
OMNI covers the O5 Council, the studio developers and the Administrator.
Numbers
- Rules need a number such as
3.2. Sections can have one (3), and articles don't. - A rule goes under the section with the longest matching number, so rule 3.2 sits under section 3.
- A number can't change once the page is saved. If a rule needs a new number, create the new rule and retire the old one.
/3.2on a rulebook's site jumps straight to that rule. SearchingFL 3.2does the same.
Retiring
Nothing gets deleted. When a rule stops applying, open its Edit tab and use Retire this page at the bottom. You can say which rule replaces it.
A retired rule stays readable with a grey banner that gives the date and the replacement. Its number is never used again.
Old versions
Every save is kept. The History tab lists every change with who made it and why, and a diff against the version before it.
Add ?at= and a date to see a page as it was that day, for example /Help:Everything?at=2026-09-26. A yellow banner shows you're looking at an old version. The Permanent link in a rule's infobox gives you today's version in this form, which is handy for rulings you'll want to look back on.
Discord embeds
Paste a rule link into Discord and the preview shows:
- the rulebook name, and a sidebar colour that's different for each rulebook
- the rule number and title, like
FL 3.2 Detaining - who the rule applies to, then the start of the rule text
- the rulebook's icon
Retired rules start with [RETIRED], and ?at= links end with (as of 14 May 2026). Discord caches previews, so if one looks out of date after an edit, add ?v=2 to the end of the link.
